Franklin Dee Ross, age 81, passed away on December 13, 2021, at The Waters of Cheatham in Ashland City, Tennessee. Franklin was born in Ashland City, Tennessee, on September 15, 1940, to the late Henry and Nellie (Allen) Ross. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a retired factory worker from Acme Boot. He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Roy Ross, Jessie Ross, Albert Ross, Howard Ross, Bufford Ross, Betty Biggs, Ethel Cannon, Bessie June Jones and Myrtle Criswell. He is survived by his brother, Ernest Ross (Gloria); brothers-in-law, Roy Biggs and Tommy Jones; sister-in-law, Yvonne Ross; 30 nieces and nephews and 23 great-nieces and nephews; and honorary grandchildren, Allysa Boll and Arkham Grissom. Funeral service will be Thursday, December 16, 2021, at 1pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Ross Cemetery in Ashland City, Tennessee. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 15th from 12noon until 6pm and on Thursday, December 16th, from 10am until service hour of 1pm.
