Farris Leon Pemberton, age 73, of Ashland City, Tennessee, peacefully passed away on Thursday, May 13, 2021, at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. Leon was born on October 3, 1947 in Nashville, Tennessee, to the late Farris Eugene Pemberton and Myrtle "Bunnie" Demonbreun Pemberton. Leon was a Veteran of the United States Navy and was self-employed with Exhibitors Choice as a master craftsman. He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Frank Pemberton and cousin Earnest "Bubba" Freudeman. Leon is survived by his wife of 55 years, Janice Hester Pemberton; twin daughters, Dawn Pemberton Camp (Austin) and Shawn Pemberton (Amanda); brothers, Bart Pemberton, Paul Pemberton (Jeanette) and Ross Raymer Jr (Sherri).; sisters, Naomi Pemberton (Kelly), Linda Raymer Mosier, Rose Mary Raymer and Judy Raymer Booton; adoring grandchildren, Desiree Pemberton (Matt), Alora Camp, and Braiden Camp. Leon had numerous loving nephews, nieces and extended family. He will be fondly remembered by countless friends and family for his memorable laugh, loving heart, playful sense of humor and generosity. A memorial service will be held at Simpkins Chapel United Methodist Church on Saturday, May 15, 2021, at 2:00pm.
