Evva Darlene (Archey) Hampton, age 65, of Chapmansboro, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at her home. She was born on December 7, 1958, in Nashville, Tennessee, to the late Vernon Eugene Archey and Ethel Mae (Petty) Archey. She worked as a manager at Sudden Service and as a lunch lady for the Cheatham County School System. Darlene is preceded in death by her parents, Vernon Eugene Archey and Ethel Mae Archey; bonus mom, Louise Tinnie Morrow; and son, Billy Joe Finch, Jr. She is survived by her husband, Donnie Hampton; daughters, Stacie Johnson (Tommy) and Sarah Wilkes (Taz); grandchildren, Jaydin Johnson, Emma Johnson, Case Johnson, Demetri Wilkes, Lyra Wilkes, Devin Corter, and Kassie Clark; and great grandchildren, Karslen Creek and Elias Clark. Funeral service will be Sunday, November 24, 2024, at 2pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Jackson's Chapel Cemetery in Charlotte, Tennessee. Visitation will be the same day from 11am until the service hour of 2pm. Serving as pallbearers will be James "Taz" Wilkes, Tommy Johnson, Nathan Johnson, David Johnson, Ricky Gay, Johnny Archey, and James Gowin.
