EVELYN DARLENE SHEARRON, age 89, passed away at Lynch's Residential Health Care for the Elderly on July 13, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. Darlene was born in Cheatham County, Tennessee, on December 19, 1927, to the late Vincent and Kathleen Harris. She was a graduate of Ashland City High School, a member of Neptune Clifton United Methodist Church and retired from Ashland City Bank and Trust after 43 years. Darlene is preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her loving husband of 70 years, Harland "Doc" Shearron; sister, Nell Stack; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be Sunday, July 16, 2017, at 2pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Reverend Penny Stratton officiating. Burial will follow in Will Smith Cemetery in Ashland City, Tennessee. Visitation with the family will be Saturday, July 15, 2017, from 2pm to 8pm and on Sunday, July 16th from 12noon until service hour of 2pm. Serving as active pallbearers will be H.F. Batts, Pete Case, Larry Perry, Bobby Stack, Danny Stack, and Jeff Hunter. Honorary pallbearers are Phillip and Trish Hunter and Tim Turner.
