JACKSON, Evelyn Virginia, age 96, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, July 7, 2015. Virginia was born August 28, 1918, in Cheatham County, Tennessee, to John Jesse Borum and Brodie Lavender Borum. She was a member of the Ashland City Church of Christ and worked as an administrative assistant in the tax records and assessor's office. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Wyatt C. Jackson, Jr.; daughters, Nancy Chastain and Patricia Franklin and son-in-law, Danny Franklin; brothers, John (Leslie) Borum and Henry Borum; sister, Louise (Charlie) Shoemake. She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Berry; granddaughters, Shari Chastain, Jean Martin, Keith Reed, and Tracy Cobb; great-grandchildren, Collin Lyon, Kyle Reed and Kassie Reed, and Hudson Cobb.
