Evelyn A. (Milom) Gupton, age 80, of Pleasant View, Tennessee, passed away at the Kempton of Hermitage on Wednesday, March 19, 2025. She was born on February 6, 1945, in Nashville, Tennessee, to the late John Thomas Milom and Ozena Louise (Batts) Milom. She was a member of Mallory's Church in Chapmansboro, Tennessee. She worked as an LPN at Baptist Hospital. Evelyn was a hard-working woman who loved sewing, cooking, crafting, and gardening. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Ozena Milom; husband, Darrell Edward Gupton; son, Edward Shawn Gupton; daughter, Cynthia Deneise Gupton; and brothers, Billy Milom, Jerry Milom, and Jim Milom. She is survived by her sons, Terry Travis (Candi) and Jeff Travis (Sandi); daughters, Bridget Hartsook (Jim) and Kelly Hampton; grandchildren, Brooks Edgin, Leah Sutton, Phillip Hampton, Erica Travis, Shelby Thompson, Wesley Travis, and Nolan Gupton; and numerous great grandchildren. Funeral service will be Tuesday March 25, 2025, in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Randy Hester officiating. Burial will follow in Mallory's Cemetery in Chapmansboro, Tennessee. Visitation will be Monday, March 24, 2025, from 3pm to 7pm and Tuesday, March 25, 2025, from 10am until the service hour of 2pm. Serving as pallbearers will be Chris Milom, Kenny Milom, Phillip Hampton, Wesley Travis, Kenny Blair, and Scott Milom. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mallory's Cemetery.
