Ethie Ellen Bailey, age 90, passed away at her home on Easter morning, April 21, 2019. Ethie was born in Bloomington, Indiana, on May 29, 1928, to the late Frank Edward Flynn and Beulah Meadows Flynn. She was retired from housekeeping, working for many hotels. She is preceded in death by her parents; daughters, Judy Ann Sipes and Penna Sue Vest; and 5 siblings, Darrell Flynn, James Flynn, Hester Fay Franklin, Dorothy Louise Flynn, and Joey Flynn. She is survived by her daughters, Clara Jean Arwine, Linda May Grubb, Beverly Kay Gross, Ellen Louise Flynn, and Hazel Darlene Garrison; brothers, Franklin L. Flynn, Joseph Erixson, and Dean Flynn; sisters, Ester May Austin, Mona Richardson, Mabel Thornton, Edith Porter, Wanda Savell, and Brenda Persinger; 28 grandchildren, 94 great-grandchildren, and 73 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be Tuesday, April 23, 2019, at 1:30pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with her brother, Frank Flynn, officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery in Ashland City, Tennessee. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 23rd, from 11am to 1:30pm.
