Ervin Hutchens, age 75, passed away at his home on October 20, 2019. Ervin was born in Whitley Hollow, West Virginia, on February 14, 1944, to the late Walter Mack and Maudie Ellen Waddell Hutchens. He was a retired plumber. Ervin is preceded in death by his parents; wife of 53 years, Charlene Stewart Hutchens; and several brothers and sisters. He is survived by his sons, Eddie (Lynn Martin) Hutchens and Scottie (Stefanie) Hutchens; brother, Benny (Billie) Hutchens; and grandchildren, Erin (Maddie) Hutchens, Faith (Matsen) Hartsoe, Austin Hutchens, Adam Hutchens, Haley Powell, and Ethan Hutchens. Funeral service will be Thursday, October 24, 2019, at 1pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with James "Bubba" Morris officiating. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery in Ashland City, Tennessee. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 23rd from 3pm to 7pm and on Thursday, October 24th, from 10am until service hour of 1pm.
