STEELE, Edna N., age 83, passed away on December 19, 2014. She was born August 31, 1931, in Nashville, Tennessee, to Edward Allen Nunley, Sr., and Grace Allen Nunley. Edna was a member of the Cheap Hill Church of Christ since 1960 and worked and retired from the V.A. Medical Center in Nashville, TN, where she was a medical administrative assistant for the radiology department. She was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Royce Steele; brothers, Edward Allen Nunley, Jr., and William Nunley; and sister Dorothy Jean Phillips. She is survived by her children: Eddie (Vickie) Steele and Jane Steele; and grandchildren, Michelle Lee Long, William Franklin Steele, Elijah Jackson Steele, Megan Danielle Steele, Micah Grace Steele, and Chelsea Nicole Steele; two great-grandchildren, Mitchell and Clayton Steele. Funeral service will be Monday, December 22, 2014, at 2pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Brother Jerry Gaw officiating. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery in Ashland City, TN. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Family will receive friends on Sunday, December 21, 2014, from 2pm to 7pm and on Monday, December 22, 2014, from 10am until service hour of 2pm.
