Douglas "Doug" Alvin Mitchell, age 77, of Ashland City, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday May 12, 2024, at Ascension Saint Thomas Hospital Midtown in Nashville, Tennessee. He was born in Houston, Texas, on December 21, 1946, to the late Alvin Newton Mitchell and Juanita (McDougal) Mitchell. Doug was a member of Lillamay Church of Christ. He worked as an OTR driver for Frito Lay. He is preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Juanita Mitchell. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Bonnie Mitchell; daughter, Traci Belk (Michael); brothers, Henry Mitchell and Jesse Mitchell (Jean); brother-in-law, Gary Huble; and grandson, Ethan Belk. A Celebration of Life will be Sunday May 19, 2024, at 3pm, at Lillamay Church of Christ at 2314 River Road, Ashland City, Tennessee.
