Dorris Mitchell Perry, 86, of Nashville, Tennessee departed this life on April 15, 2026, in Livingston, Tennessee. He was born in Nashville, Tennessee on November 4, 1939, to the late Phillip Thomas Perry and Beulah Jean (Randall) Perry. He is preceded in death by his brother, Randy Perry; and sisters, Brenda Gibbs and Wanda Donnell. He worked in the commercial roofing business for 40 years & retired from Young Sales Roofing Corporation. In his spare time, he loved to fish, duck hunt and coon hunt. He leaves behind his son, Danny Michael Perry; daughter, Amanda McNeil; loving friend, Helen Perry; sister, Patricia Perry; grandchildren, Sabrina Wolcott (Nathan) and Stone Perry; and great grandchildren, Elizabeth Wolcott and Cassidy Wolcott.
Funeral service will be Sunday, April 19, 2026, at 2pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Randall Parker Cemetery in Nashville, Tennessee. Visitation will be Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 1pm to 5pm and Sunday from 12pm till the service hour of 2pm.
