Johnson, Dorris Ellen, age 98, passed away on July 9, 2019. Dorris was born in Charlotte, Tennessee, on November 7, 1920, to Baxter Smith Johnson and Bertha Mai Justice Johnson. She was employed as a caregiver to family, farmer, homemaker, and assistant beautician to her sister. She is preceded in death by her parents and her infant brother, James Thomas Johnson. She is survived by her sister, Wylodine Johnson and a host of cousins and dear friends. Funeral service will be Friday, July 12th at 2pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Reverend Don Winn officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Liberty Cemetery in Charlotte, Tennessee. Visitation will be Thursday July 11, 2019 from 6pm to 8pm and Friday, July 12th, from 12noon until the service hour of 2pm.
