MORRIS, Dorothy "Dot" B., age 77, passed away on Friday, April 4, 2014, at Maristone @ Providence in Mt. Juliet, TN. She is preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Ira Mae Lovell Balthrop, her loving husband of 57 years, W.T. (Bill) Morris and her sons, Michael Elmo and Robert Kevin Morris. She is survived by her brother, Robert Balthrop; and granddaughters, Jessica, Kinsey, April and Kailey Morris. She was a loving wife, Mother and Mimi. She was lovingly adored by all of her family and friends. She was a member of Ashland City Church of Christ for many years while residing in Ashland City, TN. Funeral service will be on Monday, April 7, 2014, at 2pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Mallory's Cemetery in Chapmansboro, TN. Visitation with the family will be Sunday, April 6, 2014, from 3pm to 6pm and on Monday, from 12noon until time of service of 2pm. Serving as pallbearers will be Ritchie Balthrop, Trey White, Michael Bejma, Joey Wilson, Bryan Scruggs, Rick Spragins, Jeff Morris and Wilson Tucker.
