HAYES, Donald R., age 74, passed away at his home on Tuesday, January 29, 2013. He is preceded in death by his mother, Minnie Hayes, son, Billy Dewayne Hayes, and brother, Charles Patterson. He is survived by his wife, Jo Helen Johnson Hayes; daughter, Teresa (J.D.) Carter; brother, Kenneth (Ruth) Patterson; 4 stepchildren; and 6 grandchildren. Funeral service will be held on Friday, February 1, 2013, at 11am in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday from 4pm to 7pm, Thursday from 1pm to 7pm and on Friday from 9am until funeral hour of 11am. Burial will follow in White House Memorial Gardens in White House, TN. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
