Donald "Mickey" Binkley, age 74, passed away at home in Ashland City, TN on January 13, 2021. Mickey was born in Nashville, Tennessee, on January 28, 1946, to the late Joe Maro Binkley and Grace Teasley Binkley. He was a graduate of Cheatham County Central High School, Class of 1965, and served in the National Guard. Mickey worked and retired from Kensworth Trucking Company. He is preceded in death by his parents and survived by his sister, Carol James; niece, Colleen (Steve Vaughn) James; great-nephew, Christopher Simmons (Ashley Armstrong); great-niece, Nicole Simmons; great-great-nephew, Jaxson Simmons; and first cousin, Jay (Sammie) Binkley and Patricia Binkley Hester. Mickey was one of the kindest men in the world who loved his family. He loved old cars, was a member of the Corvette Club for many years and was also a former drag racer. Funeral service will be Sunday, January 17, 2021, in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home. Visitation will be Saturday, January 16, 2020 from 2:00 pm to 6:00pm and Sunday, from 12noon to service hour of 3:00 pm.
