KEITH, Dixie Lee, age 68, passed away on Friday, March 24, 2017, at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, Tn. Dixie was born on July 19, 1948, in Clarksville, Tn, to the late T. Javan Keith and Peggy Elizabeth Gupton Keith. She graduated with a Masters Degree from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and worked for over 30 years as a guidance counselor for the Nashville Metro School System in W.A. Bass, Whites Creek and Two Rivers schools. Dixie is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her sister, Donna (Debra) Keith. Funeral service will be Sunday, March 26, 2017, at 2:30pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Pastor David E. Long officiating. Burial will follow in Will Smith Cemetery in Ashland City, Tn. The family will receive friends on Sunday before the service from 12:30pm to 2:30pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in Dixie's memory may be made to Will Smith Cemetery Fund or to Grace Community Counseling Center c/o of Cheatham County Funeral Home
