Derek Nicholas Johnson, age 43, passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2022. He was born on April 8, 1979, in Nashville, Tennessee. Derek was a self-employed electrician and contractor. He is preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Ann Johnson. He is survived by father, Curtis Murphy (Karen Krantz); ex-wife, Mary Jo Faith Howell McCoy Johnson; son, Derek Nicholas Johnson Jr.; daughters, Kathi Sue Paige Johnson, and Jerri Ann Faith Johnson; and brother, Curtis Murphy Jr. A celebration of life visitation will be Thursday, December 22, 2022, from 11am until 3pm in the chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home.
