Obituary

Deon Curtis Hollingsworth departed this life on September 22, 2014. He was born on May 29, 1991, in Nashville, Tennessee, and he was the son of Regina Hollingsworth of Ashland City, Tennessee, and David Flowers of Denver, Colorado. Deon was a graduate of Cheatham County Central High School. He attended Nashville Tech Community College for a brief time and he also attended Western Kentucky University.

He was a member of New Jerusalem Temple Pentecostal Church. There he served on the usher board, was a member of the choir and was an office assistant.

Deon always enjoyed singing, cooking, making people laugh, shopping, going to the movies and the list goes on and on. He was so full of life. He also enjoyed lifting the spirits of others and making them feel like they were number one in his life. He enjoyed making his mother feel like a queen, when they celebrated Mother's Day, birthdays, once a month mother and son day-outs and those special occasions when he prepared breakfast in bed for her. Deon also knew he had a caring father who always made sure his needs and wants were met including helping with his college education and make sure he had adequate transportation.

Deon leaves to cherish his memories, his loving mother, Regina Hollingsworth; his caring father, David Flowers; brother, David Flowers, Jr., and his sister, Dereatrice Flowers, both of Tacoma, Washington; uncles and aunts: Luther (Mary) Hollingsworth, Pikesville, Tennessee; Willie Lee (Edith) Smith of Madison, Tennessee; JC (Sheila) Hollingsworth of Nashville, Tennessee; Pearl (Philip) Buckner of Ashland City, Tennessee; John (Deborah) Hollingsworth of Clarksville, Tennessee; Tammy Hollingsworth of Ashland City, Tennessee; Timothy (Cynthia) Hollingsworth of Ashland City, Tennessee; Charles Bush of Denver, Colorado; Ronald (Natalie) Bush of Denver, Colorado; Marvin Bush of Denver, Colorado; and a host of cousins and friends.
