DEBRA D. HOOPER ELLIG, age 66, passed away at her home in Covington, Texas, surrounded by her loving family. Debra was born November 17, 1950, in Nashville, Tennessee, to William R. Hooper, Sr. and Helen Juanita Hooper Fann. She was a graduate of Cumberland High School Class of 1968 in Nashville, Tennessee. She owned and worked as a real estate broker for K and D Real Estate in Covington, Texas. She worked on her ranch and that gave her much peace. Debra loved to go "junkin" and was very artistic in making "junk" into art. She is preceded in death by her father, William R. Hooper, Sr. She is survived by her mother, Helen Juanita Hooper Fann (Jack); husband, Kenneth R. Ellig; sons: Wiley Tuberville, Manuel Carvalho (Denise) and Joe Jolie (Jodie); daughter, Misty Carvalho Reed (Ron); brothers, William "Bill" R. Hooper, Jr., (Charlotte), John F. Hooper, and Tony G. Hooper, Sr. (Donna); sisters: Lori Mays (Jack) and Dottie Hooper Martin; 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
