SPANN, David Robert, age 60, passed away at his home on Tuesday, March 8, 2016. He was born August 28, 1955, in Ashland City, Tennessee, to Robert Spann and Elsie Maureen Hamilton Spann. He was a member of Petway Church of Christ and worked as a truck driver for Yellow Freight. He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Spann and his sister, Jeannie Christy. He is survived by his mother, Maureen Spann; wife of 42 years, Stella Louallen Spann; son, Damien (Ashley) Spann; daughter, Melanie Pardue; son-in-law, Clyde Pardue; three grandchildren, Robert Stitt, Kristen Pardue, and Korbin Spann. Funeral service will be Thursday, March 10, 2016, at 1pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Brother Miles Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Petway Church of Christ Cemetery in Ashland City, Tennessee. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 9, 2016, from 2pm to 7pm and on Thursday from 11am until service hour of 1pm.
