David Arnold Hardin, age 74, passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2022. He was born in Nashville, Tennessee on November 10, 1948, to the late Joe Franklin Hardin, Sr. and Annie (Travis) Hardin. David was a retired electrician for Hardin Electric. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Annie Hardin; brothers, Grady Hardin, Joe Hardin, and Doyle Hardin; and sister, Carolyn Thompson. He is survived by his son, Mike Hardin; daughter, Amanda Resha (Rick); fiancée, Kathleen "Kathy" Chapman; and grandchildren, Avery Hardin, Case Hardin, Lily Resha, and Emma Kate Resha. Funeral service will be Saturday, December 3, 2022, at 1pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Pastor Chris Moore officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, December 3, 2022, from 10am until the hour of service. Burial will follow in EverRest of Cheatham LLC in Pleasant View, Tennessee. Serving as pallbearers will be Wayne Thompson, Timothy Thompson, Steve Thompson, Paul Hardin, Kenny Lumbert, and Case Hardin.
