Daran Cogbill, age 54, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2020, at his home in Ashland City, Tennessee. Daran was born in Memphis, Tennessee, on September 22, 1965, to Thomas Clark Cogbill Sr. and Shirley (Hunter) Cogbill. Daran was a hardworking dump truck driver for Mr. Donnie Sanders for years. Daran had a great passion for music he loved to play and sing. He is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Clark Cogbill Sr. and brother Thomas Clark Cogbill Jr. He is survived by his mother Shirley (Hunter) Cogbill; wife, Trena Gillihan Cogbill; sons, Landon Cogbill and James Cogbill; daughters, Nikki McClellan (Josh) and Katelyn Cogbill; brother, Gary Cogbill (Kaye); sisters, Judy Sullivan and Sharon McLaughlin (William); grandchildren, Caiden Cogbill, Elijah McClellan, Noah McClellan, Lucy McClellan, Jonah McClellan and a host of nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be Sunday, May 17, 2020, at 3pm in Greenbrier Church of Christ Cemetery in Ashland City, Tennessee, with Pastor Chris Moore officiating.
