Daniel "Danny" Ray Adcock, age 64, passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2017. He was born in Nashville, Tennessee, on August 15, 1952, to Charles Marshall Adcock and Babe Ruth Wheat Adcock. He worked and retired from NES, working as a pole foreman. He loved car racing and country music. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Marshall Adcock. He is survived by his mother, Babe "Ruth" Adcock; son, Ray (Jolene) Adcock; daughters, Amy White and Loretta Burton; brother, Charles (Geri) Adcock, Jr.; sister, Virginia (Alan) Ruth Hackett; and 5 grandchildren, Meranda Burton, Tucker Adcock, Ryan Adcock, Kimberly Burton, and Carmen Adcock. Funeral service will be Wednesday, June 14, 2017, at 1pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Cowan Cemetery in Nashville, Tennessee. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, June 13, 2017, from 3pm to 7pm and on Wednesday, June 14th, from 10am until service hour of 1pm.
