DALE CALLONS GRIMES, age 66, passed away at his home on March 5, 2017. He was born in Allen County, Kentucky, on October 20, 1950, to the late Orville and Garia Hammock Grimes. Dale loved motorcycles and music. He worked for Aladdin and Elan Polo in Nashville, Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Phillip Grimes and sisters, Rosemary Shaffer and Elizabeth Pahl. He is survived by his brother, James Grimes; sisters, Peggy (Wes) Lyon and Gloria Carpenter and a host of friends. Funeral service will be Thursday, March 9, 2017, at 1pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Brother Jeff Grimes officiating. Burial will follow in Bearwallow Community Cemetery in Ashland City, TN. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 8, 2017, from 3pm to 7pm and on Thursday before the service from 10am until 1pm. Serving as pallbearers will be Howard Stewart, Rico Edwards, Bill Ellis, Tim Dodson, Riley Crawford and Ross Crawford. Honorary pallbearer is Michael Phillips.
