Cynthia Ann Sanders, age 71, died peacefully at her home on Tuesday, June 14, 2022. She attended Cheatham County High School and was a part of the graduating class of 1969. Prior to retirement, Mrs. Sanders was the Director of the Ashland City Senior Center. She is preceded in death by her parents, Clayton and Ruby Perry Reed; brothers, Gary Dowlen, Danny Dowlen, and Jimmy Reed. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Tommy Sanders, Sr.; son, Dale (Emily) Sanders, Jr.; grandson, Westley Sanders; granddaughter, Maddie (Trace) Oliver; great-granddaughter, Cora Rose Sanders; and sisters, Shelby Knox and Willerdean (Joe) Smith.
