Claude Thomas Jackson, age 79, of Ashland City, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at The Residence at Alive Hospice in Nashville, Tennessee. He was born on March 9, 1945, in Nashville, Tennessee, to the late Omar L. Jackson and Mildred (Cox) Jackson. He was a union organizer, trailer mechanic, and the owner of Jackson Liquors. Thomas is preceded in death by his parents, Omar and Mildred Jackson; son, Tommy Jackson (Shirley); brother, Wayne Jackson; and sister, Shirley Mayes. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Linda (Hicks) Jackson; son, Michael Jackson (Deanna); sister, Imogene McNeese; grandchildren, Savannah Jackson-Cornell (Chase) and Jenna Jackson (Drew Tomlin); and beloved pet, Jasper. Funeral service will be Friday, December 6, 2024, at 4pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home. The visitation will be the same day from 12 noon until the service hour of 4pm.
