CLADIE BELL HOLLIS, age 80, passed away on March 16, 2017. She was born in Ashland City, Tennessee, on September 17, 1936, to John Dudley Simpson and Nellie Evelyn Binkley Simpson. Cladie Bell was a stranger to no one and a friend to everyone including everyone she met. She had been a caregiver the majority of her life, as well as a few other odd jobs until she could physically do no more due to a back injury and a battle with breast cancer later in life. She loved people unconditionally and was a giving person to all. She is preceded by her parents; daughter, Jeanine Hollis; brothers and sisters, Faye Gower, Willie Ruth Primm, Louthea Chenney, J.D. Simpson and Buz Simpson. She is survived by her sons: Hobart "Hoby" White and Greg (Linda) White; daughter, Tammy Hollis Evans; sisters, Mamie Hamilton and Charlene (Denvil) Harris; grandchildren, Gregory White, William White, Khristin "Krissy" (Anthony) Wilk, Ridge Evans, and Garran (Miranda) Evans; and 3 great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be Wednesday, March 22, 2017, at 1pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Neptune-Smith Cemetery in Ashland City, Tennessee.
