UNDERWOOD, Christine Capps, age 74. Our loving mother went home to the Lord on October 10, 2013. She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Odom and Ruby Meadows Odom; husband, Ben Underwood; son, David Capps; brother, Howard Odom and sister, Jean Capps. She is survived by her sons, Wayne (Terrie) Donnell and Ben Underwood; daughters, Phyllis (Roger) Binkley, Cindy (Ricky) Ferguson, Kim (Ronnie) Tidwell, Denise (Eugene) Tayes, and Janice Hutcherson; brother, Joe Odom; sisters, Frances Underwood, Shirley Capps, and Patricia Odom; 17 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was of Baptist Faith and a homemaker by trade. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 17, 2013, at 6pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home. Visitation with the family will be Thursday from 4pm to hour of service of 6pm.
