Charles "Charlie" W. Stinson, age 60, passed away at his home in the early morning hours of Monday, April 24, 2023. Charlie was born in Dickson, Tennessee, to the late Royce Stinson and Thelma Ann (Gentry) Stinson. He was retired from A.O. Smith after 20 plus years, working in maintenance. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and uncle and a car enthusiast. He is preceded in death by his mother, Ann Stinson; sister-in-law, Rhonda Stinson; and father, Royce. He is survived by his wife, Cindy Stinson; children, Brian (Jennifer) Stinson, J.R. Stinson, Cortney (Rashaun) Thomas, and Tim (Misty) Sterling; brother, Lee Stinson; sisters, Susie (Mike) Hall and Janice Grant; grandchildren, Camden Stinson, Collin Stinson, Jordan Hampton, Victor Stinson, and Ace Thomas. A celebration of life for Charlie will be Friday, April 28, 2023, at 7pm with Matt Honeycutt and J.J. Dowlen officiating. Visitation with the family will be Friday before the service from 4pm to 7pm.
