Charles "Rockin Randell" Tansil, age 67, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 31, 2020, at TriStar Centennial in Nashville, TN. Randell was born in Nashville, Tennessee, on August 14, 1952, to Allen "Mack" Tansil, Sr. and Dorothy "Micki" Ford Tansil. He was a graduate of Cheatham County Central High School Class of 1971 and continued his education in industrial and engineering trade school. Randell worked in maintenance for A.O. Smith, Meguiars and Homax and later retired from over 35 years in research/development and as supervisor of maintenance. Randell was preceded in death by his father, Allen Mack Tansil Sr.; wife, Beverly Newland Tansil; daughter, April Tansil and brother; Rocky Lane Tansil. He is survived by his mother; Dorothy "Micki" Ford Tansil; daughter, Chassie (Greg) Combs; brothers, Bo Tansil and Tiger (Sharon) Tansil; sister, Sabrina Hawk; grandchildren, Alexis Carter-Tansil, Airreannah Combs, James Combs, and Saivyer Combs, as well as many extended family members. Funeral service will be Sunday, August 2, 2020, at 2pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Mr. Roy Williamson officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, August 1, 2020, from 1pm to 5pm and on Sunday, August 2nd, from 12noon until service hour of 2pm. Serving as pallbearers are Greg Combs, James Combs, Bo Tansil, Tiger Tansil, Dakota Tansil, Mark Forbes,
