HUTCHENS, Charlene, age 75, passed away on Sunday, September 2, 2018. Charlene was born in Nashville, Tennessee on August 27, 1943, to the late Andrew Stewart and Mary Bell Harris Stewart. She was retired from the Tennessee Department of Education. She was married for 53 beautiful years and was an amazing mother of two sons. She is preceded in death by her parents and a host of siblings. She is survived by her husband, Ervin Hutchens; sons, Eddie Hutchens and Scottie (Stefanie) Hutchens; brothers, Roger (Beverly) Stewart, Robert (Donna) Stewart and Dino (Pam) Stewart; sisters, Brenda Greco, Edna (Frank) Kirby, Anne Farler and Mary Jean Roberson; grandchildren, Erin (Maddie) Hutchens, Faith (Matsen) Hartsoe, Austin Hutchens, Adam Hutchens, Haley Powell and Ethan Hutchens. Funeral service will be in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 5, 2018, at 2 pm. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery in Ashland City, Tennessee.
