CECIL PAUL CONNELL, age 59, passed away at his home on Wednesday, September 6, 2017, surrounded by his loving family. Cecil was born March 17, 1958, in Dickson County, Tennessee. Cecil was a graduate of Dickson County High School, Class of 1976. He worked in construction for Atkins Construction before his illness. Cecil will be missed by all who knew him. He is preceded in death by his parents, James William Connell and Minnie Pearl Edgin Connell. He is survived by his brother, Larry Connell and sister, Linda Pearl (L.C.) York. Funeral service for Cecil will be Saturday, September 9, 2017, at 2pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Brother Bill Shouse officiating. Burial will follow in Jackson Chapel Cemetery in Charlotte, Tennessee. Visitation with the family will be Friday, September 8, 2017, from 3pm to 7pm and on Saturday, September 9th from 10am until service hour of 2pm.
