POWELL, Carlos Ray, age 64, passed away on Monday, July 4, 2016. Ray was born in Echols County, Georgia, on March 12, 1952, to Gilbert and Juanelle Wheeler Powell. He was a retired truck driver. He is preceded in death by his mother, Juanelle Wheeler Powell and sister, Kathy. He is survived by his father, Gilbert Powell; son, Ryan Powell (Misty); daughter, Tracy Gale; brothers, Robert, Henry, Tommy and Emory Powell; 7 grandchildren and special friend, Peggy Dowlen. Funeral service will be Friday, July 8, 2016, at 2pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery in Ashland City, Tennessee.
