Brian Scott Grimes, age 45, passed away on Monday, November 2, 2020, at Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville, Tennessee. Brian was born on May 29, 1975, to Milton S. Grimes and Tonie Fortner. He was a high school graduate from Jesus Only Academy in Nashville, Tennessee, and went on to be a "professional" driver, working for Viking Transport at his death. He loved his children and traveling and attending their sporting events and playing golf with his friends. Brian is preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his mother, Tonie (Rocky) Monk; children, Taylor Grimes and Tommy Grimes; beloved aunt, Beverly Cope; and cousin, Mike Oatman and a host of other family members and friends. Funeral service will be Saturday, November 7, 2020, in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Pastor Chris Moore officiating. Burial will follow in EverRest of Cheatham, LLC, in Pleasant View, Tennessee. Visitation will be Friday, November 6, 2020, from 3pm to 7pm and on Saturday, November 7, 2020, from 10am until service hour of 2pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in Brian Scott Grimes' memory may be made as a love offering to Taylor and Tommy's future needs.
