Oliver, Brenda Nell, age 70, passed away peacefully on August 12, 2014. Brenda was born December 2, 1943, to James and Avis Bates Churchwell. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Bobby Oliver, and her brother, Leon Churchwell. She is survived by her son, Jeff (Dian) Oliver; brothers, Eugene Churchwell and Charles Churchwell; sisters, Joanne Mathis, Carolyn Dove, Deborah Churchwell, and Dianne Churchwell and a granddog, Carson. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 14, 2014, at 2 pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Rev. Peter Do Quang Chau officiating. The family will receive friends 1 pm until 7 pm Wednesday and from 12 noon until the hour of service Thursday. Burial will follow in Greenbrier Church of Christ Cemetery, Ashland City, TN.
