Obituary

ROSE, Homer Bradford "Brad", age 100, passed away on May 21, 2013. He is preceded in death by his parents, William Adam and Lou Ellen Mayo Rose; son, Jerry Wayne Rose; brothers and sisters, Hollis W. Rose, Cecile Pauline Rose, Jerome Rose, Louise Perry, and LoLa Perry. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Helen Lorine Perry Rose; son, Paul Robert Rose; daughter, Patsy (Mitchell) Newell; daughter-in-law, Donna Rose Young; 7 grandchildren, Torrey (Nakia) Rose, Stephanie (Bruce) Myers, Clint (Becky) Rose, Bronson Rose, Justin (Susan), Luke and Lydia Newell; 10 great-grandchildren, Amie, Daulton, Daelyn, McKenzie, Emily, Kayla, Wyatt, Olivia, Dalton and Leah. Mr. Rose was a WWII Veteran and a car mechanic by trade. He was a member of the Bearwallow Church of Christ, a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2013, at 11am in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Brother Joe Bogle officiating. Burial will follow in the Bearwallow Church of Christ Cemetery in Ashland City, TN, with military honors. Family will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer is Mr. Earl Denny. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday from 2pm to 8:30pm and on Thursday from 9am until service hour of 11am.
