BILLY RAY SMITH, age 75, passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2017, at Centennial Medical Center in Ashland City, TN. Billy Ray was born on May 25, 1942, in Nashville, Tennessee, to the late Everette Smith and Louise Dorris Smith. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a retired farmer. Billy Ray is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jimmy Smith and sister, Emma Jean Smith. He is survived by his wife, Betty Watts Smith; sons, Billy Joe Smith and Johnny Ray Smith; daughters, Shirley Jackson, Barbara (David) Farmer and Rachel (Mark) Martin; grandchildren, Ashley, Darrell, April, Kyle, Kelly, Ethan, Leslie, Rebecca and Jenny; and great-grandchildren, Brenen, Kaiden, Kamden, Blaze, Braxton and Jayden.
