PROCTOR, Billy Joe, age 85, passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2016, at Alive Hospice in Madison, Tennessee. Billy Joe was born August 27, 1931, in Dickson, Tennessee, to Jesse Daniel Proctor and Carola Sensing Proctor. He was a former sewing machine mechanic and former manager at Acme Boot Company in Ashland City, Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his parents; and five brothers and sisters, Lloye, Omer, Ethel, Allene and Clyde Proctor. He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Freda Joann Suggs Proctor; sons, Steven DeWayne (Vickie) Proctor and Michael Joe (Amber) Proctor; grandchildren, Micah (Caroline) Proctor, Matthew (Morgan) Proctor and Chris (Melissa) Jones; and great-grandchildren, Cooper Proctor, Caleb and Jackson Jones. A graveside service will be Tuesday, September 13, 2016, at 2pm in Dickson County Memorial Gardens in Dickson, Tennessee. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 13, 2016, at Cheatham County Funeral Home from 11am until 1pm. Serving as pallbearers will be Matthew Proctor, Chris Jones, Caleb Jones, Jackson Jones, Micah Proctor and Mack Jordan.
