SHEARON, Billie Claire, passed away on November 23, 2013, at approximately 7:05pm from long-term COPD and Stage 5 Alzheimer's. She was 80 years old. Billie was born and raised in Ashland City, TN, where she was a quite well-known basketball player for Cheatham County High School. It was in Ashland City, where she met her lifelong love, M.B. Shearon and they were married on July 4, 1953, and over time had two loving sons: Douglas Shearon and Brian Shearon. Billie lived a full and rich life traveling to all the states that M.B. was assigned during his stint in the Air Force, but they chose Ashland City as their permanent home. Billie was a talented artist and a select few still have her original oil paintings, charcoals and water-color prints. She was an avid reader and never missed a University of Tennessee Lady Vols basketball game. Billie loved to laugh, had great joy in her life and adored her family. Billie is preceded in death by her parents; Dusty and Georgia Jordan; and a sister, Joann Walker. Billie is survived by: Douglas Shearon, her eldest son; Brian (Toni) Shearon, her second son; Joey Shearon, her only grandson; Christina Shearon, her only granddaughter; and her brother, Mack (Wanda) Jordan. Funeral service will be Tuesday, November 26, 2013, at 12noon in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Forrest Hill Cemetery in Ashland City, TN.
