Jean (Rader) Matheny Crabtree, age 96, of Ashland City, Tennessee, passed away on January 11, 2025, at St. Thomas West. She was born in Nashville, Tennessee, on October 7, 1928, to the late Jake and Estell Rader. She was a graduate of Isaac Litton High School. She worked for Third National Bank and was owner of Rader Bonding Company. She is preceded in death by her parents Jake and Estelle Rader, her husband Jere Donald Jordan, Sr. and her husband Ed Matheney, son, Mike Jordan, and grandson, Chance Matheney. She is survived by her sons, Jere Donald Jordan, Jr. (Carol) and Eddie Ray Matheney (Sha); grandchildren, Jere Donald Jordan III (Ellie) and LeAnn Simpkins (Adam); and three great grandchildren, Ava Simpkins, Ella Jordan, Emery Jordan; nieces, Jean Payton (Larry) and Melba Reese (Bill); and close friend Sara Bell Gunn. She was interred at Forest Hill Cemetery in Ashland City, Tennessee.
