Billie Ruth Binkley, age 90, of Ashland City, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2023, at TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. She was born in Ashland City, Tennessee, on May 27, 1933, to the late Edgar Otto Lewis Binkley and Edna Mallon (Puckett) Binkley. She worked in the cafeteria at Ashland City Elementary School. She is preceded in death by her husband, Harvell Paul Binkley; brother, Arthur Lewis Binkley; and great grandchild, Luca Binkley. Billie is survived by her sons, Javan Binkley (Kimberly) and Barry Binkley; daughters, Paula Ganstine (Butch), Wanda Duckworth, and Sara Neece; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren. Funeral service will be Wednesday, August 2, 2023, at 2pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Ken Bernhardt officiating. Burial will follow in Bearwallow Church of Christ Cemetery in Ashland City, Tennessee. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 1, 2023, from 3pm to 7pm and Wednesday, August 2, 2023, from 11am until the hour of service at 2pm. Serving as pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
