HALTON, Bill Vaughn, age 70, formerly of Pleasant View, TN, passed away on Monday, July 8, 2013, in Cumming, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his parents, Aubrey Vaughn Haltom and Jessie Lou Rogers Moultrie and brother, Mo Harrison. He is survived by his loving wife, Melinda Oldson Halton; sons, David (Jenny) Halton; stepsons, Tom L. (Lisa Sowder) Wilson, Jr., James L. (Lisa) Wilson, and Matthew Lynn (Carol) Wilson; daughter, Sheri Clemente; brother, stepbrother, Junior (Mary Alice) Moultrie; grandchildren, Devan Halton, D.J. Dillon, Jessica Delfunct, Garret Farmer, Brittany Nicole Wilson, Laken Starr Wilson, and William James Buckley Wilson. Bill was a decorated U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran and a 32nd degree Mason. He worked as a boilermaker with TVA and enjoyed coaching and fishing. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2013, at 2pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Pleasant View United Methodist Church Cemetery with Masonic service and military honors held at the gravesite. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, July 10, 2013, from 2pm to 8pm and on Thursday, July 11, 2013, from 11am until service hour of 2pm.
