TEMPLE, Betty Jean, age 76, a long-time resident (46 years) of Ashland City, TN, passed away on December 28, 2013. She is preceded in death by parents, Everett Rose/Frances Rucker, brothers, Robert and Jesse Rose; spouse, Sam E. Temple. Survived by daughters, Elizabeth Peacher (Hershel) and Tammy French (Michael); 7 grandchildren, Steven, Phillip and Nathan McLaughlin, Samantha Peacher, Randy and Tony Nicholson, Michaela French; and 7 great-grandchildren; and family friend, George Roberts. Betty worked as a custodian for many years at East Cheatham Elementary School. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 31st at 2pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Bro. Greg Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Joelton Hills Memory Gardens. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
