WATSON, Betty Jean, age 80, passed away on Wednesday, September 26, 2018. Betty was born in Summertown, Tennessee, on January 5, 1938, to the late Earl Abner Staggs and Bertha Mai Burleson Staggs. She was a member of Sycamore Chapel Church of Christ and worked at BJs Family Restaurant as bookkeeper and cashier before retiring. Betty is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Chester Lyle Watson; brothers, Charles, Loyd, Edward and Joe Staggs; and sister, Gladys Staggs. She is survived by her children, Gary (Diane) Watson, Donald Lee Rippetoe, Anthony Rippetoe, Brenda Annette Israel, and Renee Satchen; brother, Raymond (Clara) Staggs; several grandchildren. Funeral service will be Sunday, September 30, 2018, at 1pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Hermitage Memorial Gardens in Old Hickory, Tennessee.
