Betty Jo Freeman McGlasson of Chapmansboro, Tennessee, passed away September 10, 2018. Preceded in death by parents Wallace and Mary Freeman, son Mike McGlasson, and son-in-law William "Bill" Foster. Survived by her husband of 66 years, Elman "Mac" McGlasson, son, Bruce McGlasson, daughter, Linda Foster; seven grandchildren: Jessie (Chris) Bower, Jacob and Finn McGlasson, Kelsey Foster, Brian (Mary) Foster, Graham (Charlene) McGlasson, Cameron (Jeremy) Downing; eleven great-grandchildren, and foster son, Billy Miller.
Family was very important to Betty and she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. A Christian and member of Ashland City United Methodist Church, Betty was active in UMW, the church Fellowship class, and the Methodist Laity Group of Cheatham County. Betty was a graduate of Isaac Litton High School, class of 1949. Services at Cheatham County Funeral Home with visitation Tuesday, September 11, from 4PM-8PM. Funeral service Wednesday, September 12 at 11 AM with visitation an hour before the service. Burial at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Nashville, TN.
