BETTY JEAN COPELAND, age 80, passed away on Saturday, May 5, 2018, at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. Betty Jean was born in Nashville, Tennessee, on June 11, 1937, to William Howard Ferguson and Francis B. Sherg Ferguson. She was a homemaker to her late husband, James Copeland. She is preceded in death by her parents, William Howard and Francis B. Sherg Ferguson and husband, James Copeland. She is survived by her brothers, Riley (Carolyn) Ferguson, Howard (Sally) Ferguson, and Dan (Joyce) Ferguson; sisters, Julia (Richard) Parrish and Debra (Pat) Shales; and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be Wednesday, May 9, 2018, at 1pm in the chapel with Father Joseph Breen officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Nashville, Tennessee.
