STORY, Bennie Clayton, Jr., age 69, passed away at Grace HealthCare – Whites Creek in Nashville, TN, on March 17, 2015. He was born February 28, 1946, in Cheatham County, Tennessee, to Bennie Clayton Story, Sr., and Claire Leona Hooper Story. Clayton was a 1965 graduate of Cheatham County High School. He served in the United States Army in the Vietnam Conflict. He worked as a welder at Ben Story Welding. He is preceded in death by his parents, Bennie Clayton Story, Sr, and Claire Leona Hooper Story and sisters, Clairene Reeves and Margie Hudgins. He is survived by his sisters: Mayme Travis of Charlotte, TN, and Harriet Reed of Ashland City, TN; children by choice, Terry and Jean Ann Travis; and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2015, at 1pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Bro. Kennie Clement. Burial will follow in Greenbrier Church of Christ Cemetery in Ashland City, TN, with Ray Gibbs, Monkey Hudson, Jeremy Petty, Austin and Dustin Rogers and David Story officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 20, 2015, from 4pm to 8pm and on Saturday, March 21st from 10am until service hour of 1pm.
