GIBBS, Arthur Bruce, age 94, passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2013, in Nashville, TN. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Thomas and Bessie Jackson Gibbs; and his loving wife, Ann Gibbs. He is survived by his son, Bruce (Elaine) Gibbs; grandchildren, Andrew (Vera) Gibbs and Andrea (Todd) Pewitt; great-grandchildren, Maddie, Chase, and Will Gibbs; and Kiah and Bryant Fisher; brother, William Hester (Elnor) Gibbs; and sisters, Edith Bliss and Elsa Lockert. Funeral service will be held on Friday, March 8, 2013, at 11am in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Brother Mike Fox officiating. Burial will follow in Gibbs Cemetery in Ashland City, TN. Serving as pallbearers will be Andrew Gibbs, Todd Pewitt, John Gibbs, Eric Lockert, James Lockert, Shawn Lockert and serving as Jr. pallbearers, Bryant Fisher and Chase Gibbs. Honorary pallbearers are Tony Blue, Don Beshears, Tommy Pardue and Mike Gibbs. Visitation with the family will be Thursday, March 7, 2013, from 4pm until 8pm and on Friday from 9am until service hour of 11am.
