Arthur Willard Forbes, age 93, passed away Sunday April 12, 2020, at Hillcrest Healthcare Center in Ashland City, Tennessee. Willard was born in Cheatham County, Tennessee, on December 29, 1926, to the late William Forbes and Eula (Copeland) Forbes. He owned and operated a paving company for many years. Willard is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Modene Forbes; daughter, Pamela June Forbes; granddaughter, Treva Nicole Forbes; sisters; Stella McCarver, Kathleen Gupton and Lorene Forbes; brothers; Donald Forbes and Rufus Forbes. Nephews, Ray McCarver, Carl McCarver, and Hubert Forbes. He is survived by his son, Jerry (Sherrie) Forbes; nieces, Kathy (Tommy) Cushman, Jean Phillips and Violet (Wade) Forbes-Scholes and several great-nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be Wednesday, April 15th at 2pm in Bethlehem Cemetery in Ashland City, Tennessee.
