Watts, Arline Hampton, age 80, passed away on December 3, 2016. She was born to the late Lloyd and Freddie Mae Hampton in Charlotte, Tennessee. She was one of three children. Mrs. Arline was married to Mr. James Watts and they have a son, Kenneth Watts. Mrs. Watts was happily married for many years. She lived her life as a loving wife and mother. Arline was an employee in the credit department at SunTrust Bank, where she retired. She also was a member of the Mt. Liberty Presbyterian Church. Arline was preceded in death by her husband, James, her parents, her brother, Buddy Hampton, sisters, Ada Bell Binkley and Bobbie Patterson. She is survived by her son, Kenneth Watts, her sisters, Maureen Spann and Margaret Simpson. Also, survived by 2 grandchildren, Jamie Stanton and Kenzie Watts and 2 great grandchildren, Ally Stanton and Kaitlyn Rayburn. Funeral service will be Tuesday, December 6, 2016, at 1:00 pm, in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Brother Bill Shouse officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Liberty Cemetery in Charlotte, Tennessee. Visitation with the family will be at the Cheatham County Funeral Home on Monday, December 5th from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm and Tuesday, December 6th from 10:00 am until time of service at 1:00 pm.
